During the academic year we meet in
Lefrak Hall 1201, UMD
12:30-1:30pm, Tuesdays
Mission Statement:
Provide refuge from the stresses of life and academics by creating linkages among each other, and developing leadership and spiritual growth under the shield of the Holy Spirit.
Purpose: Daniel decided not to eat the king’s food or drink his wine [culture] because that would make him unclean (Daniel 1:8)
Description:
Babylon was the primate city of ancient Mesopotamia, located in modern-day Iraq. The city had a reputation for its culture of rebellion against GOD. However, GOD’s people (Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, & Azariah) still found refuge within this atmosphere. We are living in those times today, and you have not been forgotten. GOD has gifted us with the power of choice. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middle of them (Matthew 18:20). Find peace, guidance, and protection in Babylon. Exercise your faith and stand up for what is Biblical right today.
